The Chase and Area Family Services Society (formerly Chase and Area Young Learners Society) has been serving the community since 2020.
We aim to provide opportunities to children and families in the Chase area to access resources, activities and community spaces that will enhance their quality of life. We do this by providing high quality educational opportunities and supportive resources for youth and families.

Riverstone Community Food Forest
Chase and Area Family Services has been researching and designing a plan for planting a food forest garden in Willson Park. The goal for this project is to provide a public space for education, enrichment and connection with the natural world, and community collaboration.

This plan includes edible plants, food for pollinators, habitat for birds and insects, nature play spaces, and educational signage. There are a number of organizations that see the long term benefits of this project and are interested in using and caring for the space.

Riverstone Family Resoure Centre
Riverstone Centre is a space that families can utilize to access resources and information, in addition to being a place to find social opportunities and support. The Centre creates opportunities for children and families to advance their learning. We are creating the umbrella under which we can grow and adapt to the changing needs of our community.
